CZ's life is one of building and contributing. As he wrote, he is a person that "gets shit done" and I admire his persistence, his resilience, and his commitment to making the world a better place. I also appreciate @wublockchain for taking the time to write this amazing review.

The CZ story is genuinely one of the more fascinating entrepreneurial arcs in tech, not just crypto. Going from a McDonald's employee to building the world's largest crypto exchange by volume is the kind of biography that works as a business case study independent of what you think about crypto. What makes it analytically interesting is the regulatory dimension. Binance's trajectory illustrates what happens when a company scales faster than its compliance infrastructure, and the $4.3 billion DOJ settlement in 2023 is the most quantifiable outcome of that gap. The autobiography will likely center on the vision and grind, which is fair, but the more instructive story is how a business that was built on regulatory arbitrage, bouncing between jurisdictions, had to eventually reckon with the limits of that model when the US Treasury got involved. That tension between speed-of-growth and regulatory durability is the real lesson that founders in any fintech or data-adjacent space should take from Binance's trajectory.
