LayerZero has announced a new Layer 1 blockchain named Zero, designed to address scalability and privacy challenges for Wall Street’s adoption of blockchain technology. The chain claims to support approximately 2 million transactions per second (TPS) with transaction costs below 1 cent. Citadel, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), and Cathie Wood are participating as investors, partners, or advisors. Citadel has invested via tokens (amount undisclosed), and Tether has also announced its participation.

Pump Fun founder alon stated on X that the company is hiring software engineers, data scientists and machine learning engineers, aiming to build a global consumer-facing crypto product brand and promote the tokenization of early high-potential ideas. He said the base annual salary for the positions is approximately $300,000 to $1.5 million, with additional PUMP token incentives worth around $75,000 to $500,000.
3. Aave Labs Submits Governance Proposal to Allocate 100% of Aave Branded Product Revenue to DAO Treasury link
Aave Labs, the technical service provider of Aave, has submitted a governance Temp Check proposal, planning to establish Aave V4 as the core technical architecture in the future, turn over 100% of the revenue from all Aave-branded products to the DAO treasury, and establish a brand protection mechanism and a long-term growth fund framework. Zak Folkman, co-founder of World Liberty Financial, a crypto project linked to the Trump family, revealed at the Consensus Hong Kong conference that the project plans to launch a foreign exchange platform named World Swap as part of its USD1 stablecoin ecosystem. Folkman stated that World Swap aims to simplify cross-border transfer processes, challenge the high fees of 2% to 10% per transaction charged by traditional remittance service providers, and enable users to send and receive digital dollars in a manner similar to mainstream payment applications.

6. Robinhood Launches Layer 2 Blockchain “Robinhood Chain” Focused on Tokenized Assets link
Robinhood has launched Robinhood Chain, a Layer 2 blockchain built specifically for financial services and tokenized real-world assets (RWA). The chain is constructed on Arbitrum technology and is Ethereum-compatible. Robinhood Chain is designed to support the issuance of native tokenized assets without intermediaries, allowing developers and users to access, build, and transfer assets. The testnet is now open for developers to test and validate financial applications.

Securitize has announced a partnership with Uniswap to enable on-chain trading of BlackRock’s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) via UniswapX.
Following the announcement of deploying BUIDL on the DeFi platform Uniswap, BlackRock, the asset management giant, stated that it will purchase Uniswap’s native token UNI, without disclosing the specific amount. Analysts point out that the actual impact of adding BUIDL to Uniswap may not be significant initially, as the agreement involves Securitize creating a whitelist of eligible institutions to participate in DeFi trading. The company has also whitelisted several market makers, including long-time crypto liquidity provider Wintermute, to facilitate transactions. Meanwhile, access to BUIDL is restricted to qualified purchasers — individuals or entities with assets of $5 million or more.
9. Hyperliquid’s Trading Volume Surpasses Coinbase link
The on-chain trading platform Hyperliquid has surpassed Coinbase in trading volume. In terms of notional trading volume, Coinbase recorded $1.4 trillion, while Hyperliquid reached $2.6 trillion — nearly double that of Coinbase. In year-to-date price performance, Hyperliquid has risen 31.7%, while Coinbase has fallen 27.0%, creating a significant short-term divergence of approximately 58.7%.

Dan Romero, founder of Farcaster, has announced joining Tempo, a stablecoin-focused blockchain backed by Stripe and Paradigm.
