On March 12, Yuga Labs, the parent company of BAYC, announced that it had acquired the IP of the CryptoPunks and Meebits NFT collections from Larva Labs and would soon grant CryptoPunks and Meebits holders the same commercial rights as BAYC and MAYC holders.
